We met a guy at the Bencubbin Caravan Park who told us the caravan park at Beacon is much better. We decided to stay a night there and visit the Beacon Country Club.

KOORDA

On our way there we diverted via Koorda Sports Club and we're surprised with what we saw.

First thing we saw was a sign saying the club died.

It looks ok inside but the fridge is empty.

We also noticed all the strings were down on the plastic synthetic green.

It was called The Jack Watt Green.

BEACON

Jean's been in touch with Beacon Country Club via Facebook Messenger. She told them we were coming today. The Pennant ladies are away today but the club is open from 5pm so we've come to check it out.

There's a nice big bar in the clubhouse.

It's a Sports Club so there are lots of other sports on display.

The bowls stuff is proudly shown.

The ladies sat for a relaxing drink outside.

The mats are donated.

It's a plastic synthetic green.

Mal went out for a late afternoon roll-up.

As usual he did a few good shots.

Jean took her turn.

She was slightly happy with a shot.

Then she did a pearler.

Jean's been chatting on Messenger with Tegan at the bar. We had a great chat with her. We asked her about getting some shirts that are Parramatta colours.

Brandon came by with two shirts for us.

A roll-up and a friendly drink at Beacon.
