Headed East

We're headed out East to do all the clubs in tiny towns out there. Today it's Dowerin, Wyalkatchem, Training, Bencubbin where we're staying and Nungarin .

DOWERIN

Dowerin is a Community Club with a big bowling Green.

It's a nice community space.

With a large outdoor shady area.

There's a big ten-rink plastic synthetic green.

We headed further east to Wyalkatchem Club.

WYALKATCHEM

Wyalkatchem Club is another great community Sporting facility.

We peeked inside to see a big bar and pool table.

The big shade area overlooks the bowling green and tennis courts.

It's another plastic synthetic green.

With good permanent shades.

We went on to Trayning.

TRAYNING SPORTING CLUB

Another great sports facility is Trayning & Districts Sporting Club.

It seems inviting.

Yet another plastic synthetic green.

With nice red shades.

Greg was in the driveway on his phone. He came out for a chat.

Next was Bencubbin.

BENCUBBIN

We're staying the night at Bencubbin. It took us a while to find the Recreation Center but we did.

It was founded in 1986.

There were people from another sport having a little party in the clubhouse.

The green looks in good shape.

Our last stop was Nungarin Recreation Ground.

NUNGARIN

Nungarin is a bit off the beaten track so we had to drive 45 minutes so we didn't miss out seeing it.

Another club that looks welcoming.

Outside is a barbecue area with a pizza oven.

The green is carpet.

With sturdy permanent shades.

Five clubs in one day - not too bad!
