Three clubs in one day culminates at Murrurundi

We're on our quick trip up the New England Highway to Qld. This morning we did both the clubs in Scone. We moved on to Murrurundi where we are staying. We'll be tired by the end of the day!

It's a small clubhouse.

With a beautiful memorial gate.

And matching stone fences.

There's a lovely little memorial garden.

The green looks nice. It's plastic synthetic.

The Athol J. Frith Green.

It has beautiful mountain views.

Bruce (VP) and Gary (President) were rolling up to prepare for Pennant Sectional Finals.

Bruce told us "We let bowlers camp out the back!" Jean quizzed them about that. They said we could hook up our hose and power. Gary even said he'd open up the back door to the toilet and shower for us. Jerome liked rolling on the gravel.

It's lovely with a little river beside.

There's a nice Chinese restaurant for our Friday dinner and they have raffles as well!

We started our rollup.

We didn't do too bad first end.

Jean had a go. She was happy with the results.

We met Bushy (club Treasurer) who told us when we get to Nimbin say "Bushy from Murrurundi can't wait to get up there!"

We relaxed with the boys. Gavin joined us. He's the caretaker of the Vietnam Vets memorial.

After our delicious Chinese dinner we came in for raffles. The club was full.

We didn't win a meat tray but had fun. Gary introduced us to everyone.

Murrurundi - thanks so much for the hospitality!
